Adults generally take Potassium Bicarbonate + Sodium Alginate after meals and at bedtime, following the product label or the prescriber’s instructions. Tablets are usually chewed thoroughly before swallowing; suspension should be shaken well and measured accurately. The exact dose and duration depend on the product strength, symptoms and the patient’s medical condition, so follow the doctor’s or pharmacist’s advice.

• Common or mild effects may include bloating, belching, nausea, abdominal discomfort or constipation/diarrhoea.
• Unpleasant taste or chalky feeling may occur with some preparations.
