Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ChamberBD ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including doctors, staff members, and patients who interact with the Platform.

2. Description of Service

ChamberBD is a cloud-based clinic management and telemedicine platform that provides:

• Appointment scheduling and management
• Patient record management
• Digital prescription creation and sharing
• Payment and billing management
• Invoice generation
• Staff management with role-based access control
• Analytics and reporting
• Public doctor directory and online booking
• AI-powered clinical assistant

3. Account Registration

• You must be a licensed medical practitioner or authorized representative to create a doctor account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must verify your email address to activate your account
• One account per individual practitioner — shared accounts are not permitted
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1 Plans

ChamberBD offers tiered subscription plans (Basic, Standard, Premium) with varying features and usage limits. Plan details and pricing are listed on our Pricing page.

4.2 Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to Standard plan features. No credit card is required for the trial period.

4.3 Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Payments are processed through secure payment gateways (bKash, Nagad, bank transfer, credit/debit cards)
• Prices are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT/৳)
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

4.4 Refund Policy

• Full refund within 30 days of first payment if unsatisfied
• No refund for partial months or remaining time after cancellation
• Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Access or attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without authorization
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or feature restrictions

6. Medical Data & Responsibility

• Clinical Responsibility: ChamberBD is a tool for managing clinical data. All medical decisions, prescriptions, and diagnoses remain the sole responsibility of the treating physician
• AI Assistant Disclaimer: The AI chat assistant provides general information only and does not constitute medical advice. Doctors must use their professional judgment for clinical decisions
• Drug Interaction Alerts: Drug interaction alerts are informational. Doctors must independently verify drug interactions before prescribing
• Data Accuracy: Doctors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of patient records, prescriptions, and other medical data entered into the Platform

7. Intellectual Property

• The Platform, its code, design, and branding are owned by ChamberBD
• Your data (patient records, prescriptions, etc.) remains your property
• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform during your active subscription
• You may export your data at any time using the built-in export tools

8. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance
• We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services, internet outages, or force majeure events
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees after multiple reminders
• Abuse the Platform or its resources

Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ChamberBD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any medical outcomes resulting from use of the Platform
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
