Set your clinic’s criteria before choosing a product
bKash and Nagad reconciliation
Ask for a demonstration of a payment, a refund and the end-of-day reconciliation. Recording a payment method, collecting money through a gateway and calculating a doctor’s revenue share are different functions. Confirm transaction charges, settlement timing and who receives the money.
ChamberBD Clinic today:
- Payments, receipts, services and invoices: Collect full or partial fees per appointment by the clinic's own payment methods and print a money receipt; define services (dressing, procedures) and bill them as invoices with partial payments. Limits: Payments are recorded by staff — patients cannot pay online. Receipts are in English.
- Daily collections (day-close) (partial): Day-close by payment method: the day's consultation collections (and therapy or dental payments) minus expenses, as a printable slip and CSV. Limits: Leaves out invoice, diagnostic-order and hijama-session payments; no counted-cash check or lock.
Reception queue for several doctors
Book a walk-in and an online patient for two different doctors, call the next token and close the visits. Check whether bookings respect each doctor’s schedule and whether patients in the waiting area can see the queue.

Limits: Staff screen only — no TV/patient display or voice call-out yet; refreshes about every 15 seconds.
- Appointments by doctor and center: Book by doctor, center, date, time and visit type (new, old, follow-up) with fee, discount and referrer; track checked-in, in progress, completed, cancelled and no-show. Limits: Bookings are not limited by doctor schedules or slots.
Doctor revenue share and payroll
Enter one real share rule — a percentage of net or gross fees, or a fixed amount per visit — and check the period statement against your own calculation. Ask which income the rule covers and which plan includes it.

Bangla prescription printing
Print a sample with your own Bangla advice, English medicine names and your letterhead on the printer and paper you use. Check line wrapping, fonts and readability after saving the same prescription as PDF.

- E-prescription with the Bangladesh medicine catalogue: Structured prescriptions: complaints, history, O/E, tests, diagnosis, medicines with multi-phase dosage, advice, treatment plan, referral and follow-up; search the medicine catalogue by brand or generic. (Physio adds therapy advice; Dental adds treatments) Limits: Templates are saved in the browser only; no ½-tablet option; standard meal labels print in English (Bangla text can be typed).
- Per-center letterhead, print and online prescription copy: Set the prescription layout per center (letterhead, logo, A4/A5, text size, footer, pre-printed pad mode) with a live preview; each finalized prescription has an online copy printed as a QR code and shareable on WhatsApp. Limits: Anyone holding the link or QR can open the copy (phone, address and IDs are hidden). WhatsApp sharing is a manual link.
- Bangla + English interface (partial): Switch the panel between Bangla and English; core clinic screens and the physio screens are translated. Limits: Dental screens, hijama care screens and the HR, referrer, diagnostics and roles screens are still in English.
BM&DC number on the prescription
Ask how the doctor’s registration number reaches the printed prescription, who can edit it and whether the vendor checks it. A number printed on a template is not evidence of registration verification or regulatory approval.

- Not available yet — BMDC-verified doctor badge: Doctors can enter their BMDC number, but ChamberBD does not verify it and shows no badge.
Work during internet and power interruptions
Distinguish a cached screen from a locally installed system. Disconnect the internet during a trial and test patient lookup, saving and printing. Check backup, restore and reconnection behaviour; local software still needs power for the computer and printer.

- Installable app with offline viewing (partial): Install the panel on a phone or computer; lists you opened stay readable offline, and edits and some operations entries queue and sync later. Limits: New appointments, patients, prescriptions and payments cannot be created offline.
SMS cost per patient
Request the price per billable SMS segment, Bangla message limits, reminder frequency, prepaid requirements and failed-message charges. Estimate the cost from your actual patients and messages, separately from the software subscription.

- SMS confirmations & reminders (partial): Editable appointment-confirmation and follow-up message templates; Physio has session and due-reminder settings, and Hijama has booking-confirmation settings. Delivery depends on the current availability below. Limits: SMS sending is temporarily unavailable. Needs prepaid SMS credit, bought in the panel (Settings → SMS) online through EPS or by a manual transfer approved by ChamberBD. Messages stop when the credit runs out.
Staff access, export and exit costs
Give reception and a doctor separate trial accounts. Test who can read, change and export records. Ask for a sample export, the terms for getting your data after cancellation, and any training or migration charges.

- Roles, permissions and multiple centers: Logins with built-in roles (owner, admin, manager, accountant, reception, doctor, technician, staff) and custom roles with module permissions and center access; run several centers in one account with per-center letterheads. Plans: Number of centers depends on the plan.
- Expenses, reports and profit & loss (partial): Expenses by category and center; period reports for one center or all (appointments, patients, revenue by doctor, invoices, physio and dental income); operating profit = income − expenses − payroll; CSV export. Limits: Diagnostic-order and hijama-session income are not yet in reports or profit & loss; centers are shown one at a time or combined, not side by side.
- Not available yet — One-click full export and self-service account deletion: Lists and reports export as CSV; a full copy or deletion is handled on request by email.
- Not available yet — Importing data from another system: The clinic products have no import tool (the doctor app can import appointments from Excel/CSV).
Total cost after the trial
Price the whole clinic, not one doctor: the plan, its limits on doctors, staff and centers, SMS credit, modules that only come with higher plans, and what happens to the account when the trial ends.

Comparing named vendors
This guide does not rate other products. Use a trial to make the final decision
Run the same fictional patient visit through each shortlisted product: reception entry, prescription print, payment, refund, daily accounts and export. Record which steps work, which need an extra module and what the full monthly bill would be. Choose based on those results and the written terms.

Questions before you buy
Does payment tracking include bKash or Nagad settlement?
Do not assume it does. Ask the vendor to separate payment entry, gateway collection, refunds and doctor revenue-share settlement, and to document the charges for each. The ChamberBD Clinic answer is in the first criterion above.
Can a clinic use a solo-doctor plan?
Check the licence terms, the doctor and staff limits, who can see patient records and how billing works. In ChamberBD, the doctor plans are one doctor’s account; a clinic with several doctors uses ChamberBD Clinic, whose plans set the number of doctors, staff and centers.
Which ChamberBD product fits a physiotherapy, dental or hijama centre?
ChamberBD Physio for physiotherapy centres, ChamberBD Dental for dental practices and ChamberBD Hijama for hijama and ruqyah centres. They share the ChamberBD Clinic panel, add their own modules and each has its own pricing page.
