What is Fetal Biophysical Profile(BPP)?

The Fetal Biophysical Profile (BPP) - 4D (F702) is a comprehensive prenatal test used to assess the well-being of the fetus, particularly in high-risk pregnancies. It combines a 4D ultrasound with fetal heart rate monitoring to evaluate five key aspects: fetal movements, fetal breathing, muscle tone, amniotic fluid volume, and heart rate.

The 4D ultrasound provides real-time, dynamic images, offering a detailed view of the fetus in motion. Each parameter is scored, with a total score out of 10.
