What is Fetal Biophysical Profile (BPP?

A Fetal Biophysical Profile (BPP) is a prenatal test that evaluates a fetus's well-being by assessing five criteria: fetal heart rate, breathing movements, body movements, muscle tone, and amniotic fluid volume. Each parameter is scored as either 2 (normal) or 0 (abnormal), with a maximum total score of 10.
