• Relief of signs and symptoms of dry eye disease or tear film instability.
• Temporary relief of burning, irritation, grittiness, or discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
• Lubrication of the ocular surface in conditions where additional artificial tears are recommended by a clinician.

For adults, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium eye drops are usually applied as drops into the affected eye or eyes when needed, or as directed by a doctor. The exact frequency depends on the severity of dryness and the specific product. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface, and close the cap after use. If using other eye medicines, leave an interval between products as advised by a doctor or pharmacist.

• Common: temporary blurred vision, mild stinging or burning, eye irritation, watery eyes, or a sticky feeling after instillation.
