What is LH?

The LH (luteinizing hormone) test measures the level of LH in the blood, a hormone that plays a key role in regulating the menstrual cycle and ovulation in women, and testosterone production in men. It is used to assess fertility, diagnose menstrual irregularities, and evaluate conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or pituitary disorders.
