What is IgG?

IgG (Immunoglobulin G) is the most abundant antibody in the blood and extracellular fluid, playing a vital role in long-term immunity and pathogen defense. It is produced after exposure to infections or vaccination, providing lasting protection by neutralizing pathogens and enhancing their clearance by immune cells.
