What is CT Perfusion?

CT Perfusion is an imaging technique that uses CT scanning to evaluate blood flow (perfusion) to organs, especially the brain, heart, or liver. It involves injecting a contrast agent to track the passage of blood through tissues, providing detailed information about tissue perfusion, oxygenation, and vascular abnormalities.
