What is Coombs Test (D/I)?

The Coombs Test (D/I), also known as the Direct/Indirect Coombs Test, is used to detect antibodies against red blood cells (RBCs). Direct Coombs Test (DCT): This test detects antibodies or complement proteins that are already attached to the surface of RBCs in the body.
