What is Anti-Jo-I?

The Anti-Jo-1 test detects antibodies against Jo-1, a type of antibody that targets an enzyme called histidyl-tRNA synthetase. These antibodies are commonly associated with polymyositis and dermatomyositis, both of which are inflammatory muscle diseases.
